Protocol droids were a droid series that were fluent in over six million forms of communication. The Neimoidians used these to save themselves from doing any labor. These droids were varients in any colors such as gold, silver, crimson, and bronze. Two known droids were TC-14 who served the Trade Federation and C-3PO who was built by the famed Utapau resident and famed farmboy Annikin Starkiller during the invasion of Naboo in 19 BBY.
