Prollians were the main sentient species native to the planet of Prolla. For many centuries they remained uncivilized and had no access to the Galaxy-spanning technologies like Hyperdrive, Antigrav and Holoprojector.
By the time of the Galactic Empire Prollians managed to achieve a correspondent technological level, so that they learned to use starships and droids.
History[]
It was the year 567 BBY, when the expedition from Anarmar was sent to the small planet, codenamed ACU-907, that was believed to have multiple mineral deposits. A small base was established there, and after several months of works the colonists met the local sentient species.
These were the insectoid-like beings with big green eyes, that spoke an unknown language. However the newcomers succeeded in establishing warm relationship with the humanoids, that later became known as Prollians.
Many scientists and professors went to Prolla to study the new species, as well as teaching them various aspects of contemporary science. Prollians were fast learners, and they would soon join the Senb'An'Tiin Confederacy.
In 31 BBY they decided to secede from the Confederacy, and in 21 BBY they joined the Confederacy of Independent systems. After 19 BBY the majority of Prollians were turned into slaves and sent to various Imperial worlds.
Physiology[]
Prollians were small humanoids usually with grey shrunken skin, though depending of the caste, the color could vary. They had the insectoid-like green eyes, that allowed them to see at night.
Usually they didn't use any clothes on them, but after the arrival of the first outlanders they changed their traditions, and members of the highest caste would always wear expensive and the most exquisite clothes. As for female Prollians, they would enjoy jewels and shining spillikins to be distinguished from their friends and relatives.
