Pooja Naberrie (more widely known under the alias of The Imperial Slayer) was a female human freedom fighter who fought against the Galactic Empire. After the death of her aunt and presumed death of her crush at the hands of the newly-christened Empire, a deep resentment would take root in the young girl - ultimately leading her to resist the Empire as an adult.

Biography

Youth

During Pooja's youth, two individuals had profound effects on her life; her aunt Padmé Amidala and her secret uncle, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker. Whenever the two visited, the three were sure to play together. In addition to playing, the youngest Naberrie enjoyed asking Skywalker for stories of his adventures as a Jedi. Pooja eventually formed a one-sided crush.

At the age of seven, Pooja, along with thousands of others, attended the funeral of Padmé Amidala. The death of her aunt came shortly after the news that the Jedi had plotted to overthrow the Republic and that Anakin Skywalker had died fighting against Vader and the 501st. The two events of varying truth sent the young girl into a state of depression and caused the once talkative and trusting girl to become silent and suspicious. She came to arrive at the conclusion that Anakin Skywalker had not betrayed the Republic, she came to think this based upon her memories of his stories.

In her teen years, Pooja would come out of her depression, opting to take unarmed combat classes thanks in no small part to the tales her Jedi friend had told her.

A New Life

An undisclosed time into adulthood, Naberrie mysteriously vanished leaving her family unaware of her fate. In truth, the young lady had chartered a ship to the Outer Rim - not caring where exactly she would wind up. Her plan was to separate herself from her family and to stay missing that way she would be presumed dead and could strike back at the Empire without fear of reprisal toward her family.

As fate, or perhaps mere chance, would have it, Pooja would wind up on a planet located in the Outer Rim run by a corrupt Imperial Governor and of some importance to the Empire, Grivven.

Using a combination of stealth and martial arts, the lady from Naboo managed to steal food, weapons, and armor from both criminal and Imperial elements on the planet. Within weeks Pooja was able to cobble together a unique set of armor, even going as far as adding a masculine voice modulator, in a bid to ensure her origins remain undiscovered.

By 3 BBY, The Imperial Slayer had formed a small band of rebels and had ascended to more than a mere thorn in the Empire's side - even going so far as to discover a secret Imperial weapons program taking place right on Grivven.

Although the de facto leader, The Imperial Slayer still tended to run operations solo due to her belief that the element of surprise trumped numbers.
