Pock Zin was the second to last Jedi taught by Jedi Master Yaddle. He was a Jedi Master before the Clone Wars but left soon after his former master was killed and joined the Truth Seekers. During the Clone Wars, Zin offered his services to the Grand Army of the Republic, and Jedi Masters Yoda and Mace Windu appointed Zin to work with Windu's former apprentice Shara Kall, who was at the time in charge of the Republic's special operations, as her second in command. During their time together, they fell in love and decided that once the war was over, they would go into exile and get married.
They survived Order 66 because there were only three clones of Jango Fett in their third of special operations. They went into exile on Tatooine as soon as they received the message from the Jedi Temple to stay away.
Pock Zin was born on Alderaan to a Force-sensitive smuggler and his Kiffar wife. A year after he was born, his parents were both killed.
Pock was being taken care of by his aunt and her husband when he was found by Jedi Master Yarael Poof. Poof talked with Zin's aunt and her husband who agreed that he should be sent to Coruscant to be trained as a Jedi.
During his time as a youngling, Pock made few friends. In his later years as a Jedi youngling, Pock devoted his time to the study of the Force and the lightsaber fighting forms Ataru and Niman. Zin would often talk to Master Yoda when the master was not busy.
When Pock was twelve years of age, he was taken as Yaddle's apprentice. The latter was very quiet and taught Pock only to speak when needed and how to focus better than most other Jedi Knights did while meditating. Yaddle was a very patient teacher.
Pock only spoke to Yaddle if he needed her advice or if she wanted him to speak his mind. The latter often happened because of their missions.
When Pock was 19 he was put through the Jedi trials and failed two of them. He was then put throught them agaiin and passed them all.
Taking an Apprentice
In his first year of being a knight Pock took Daria Liss a young girl of twelve years as his first apprentice. Daria was a fast learner she was in many ways like a younger sister to Pock. In many ways Pock treated her as both a daughter and a sister. Pock viewed Daria as his greatest friend and ally even after she became a knight.
