"Pilot" is the first chapter of Star Wars: One of a Million.
Plot summary
Pilot starts with Pack thinking about his new life as a soldier as their new Commander Popper talks about the dangers of war. Medick then interrupted Popper and they got into a fight.
Their argument was stopped by Jedi Knight Lunar-sen, who then briefed the newly formed legion on their mission. Lunar-sen shows the clones a hologram from Commander Cubick from the 722nd legion, but was interrupted by a surprise attack from some commando droids, resulting in the deaths of Cubick and Page, whilst seriously injuring Corporal Don. The two gunships are sent out to scan the blockade on the two back water cities on Christophisis. Using a cloaking device to hide half of the blockade, the clones misjudged the size of the blockade which led to the first gunship to blow up, claiming the lives of ten clone troopers, two gunners and two pilots, including Pousce and Loblon.
The second ship tries to leave, but lose two men; Pilot 2 from battle droid fire and Hailfire falls out of the gunship, soon a lucky cannon blast from the Seperatists scraped Gunner 2's cockpit and the cockpit breaks off, collides with the gunship's wing and the ship crashes, killing Eckig and Setback.
