Persia was an Executor-class Star Dreadnought in the Dark Order of Korr's navy, and later the fleet of the Greater Sith Empire. It was the personal flagship of Darth Persia (after whom it was named) for much of the Dark Order War.
Specifications[]
The Persia was one a member of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought line. It was 19,000 meters long, almost twelve times the length of an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, making it about the size of a small city. It sported more than 5,000 turbolasers and ion cannons, wings of TIE Fighters, at least 200 other combat and support ships, 5 prefabricated garrison bases, and enough stormtroopers and walkers to destroy almost any conceivable enemy base.
History[]
The Persia had been under construction for some time before the Dark Order War, and was going to be used by the Disciples of Ragnos against the New Republic. Despite the death of the cult's leader and the power shift of the organization to Jaden Korr, construction of the vessel continued. Eventually, the ship was completed. Jaden had it replace the Dark Hand as the flagship of his entire fleet. He named it after one of his most high-ranking generals, known as Persia. Although the Dreadnought was officially under Jaden's command, he had been on board the ship only twice. In the meantime, it was being used by Persia in his battles against Republic forces. The Persia was among the many vessels present at the Second Battle of Bakura, and had participated in the bombardment and destruction of the planet's surface. Afterwards, the ship served as the flagship of the Greater Sith Empire's fleet until the construction of the Dark Rage was completed.
