Persephone Aho (pronounced "AWE-hoe") was a female Hapan MI5 operative who helped put an end to the criminal organization SMERSH. She often went by the nickname "Seph".
Biography[]
Early life[]
Persephone was born and raised in the Hapes Cluster. Even though that area had been sealed off from the rest of the galaxy during the decades prior to the Clone Wars, Seph knew there was a much larger galaxy out there, and she wanted to see it. Since the Queen Mother ruled with an iron fist, it wasn't easy for Seph to get out of the Hapes Cluster. But when she did, she managed to join the anti-terrorist organization MI5.
MI5 operative[]
Battle with SMERSH[]
In 32 BBY, just before the Invasion of Naboo, Seph was a rookie MI5 agent. The Jedi Padawan Acura Krill was getting her acquainted with MI5 when the criminal organization SMERSH took over MI5 Headquarters on Coruscant. Armed SMERSH goons locked the doors and wouldn't let them in, so they hid at Hotel Binns and waited for other agents to show up.
When MI5 agents Gruu Funkistann, Jace Bont, Pandolfo Taproot, and Europa Kapanen finally arrived at HQ, Acura used The Force to unlock the doors. They quickly dispatched the armed men and regrouped with agents Shasta Moonreaper and Ainslé Vos. Together, the eight of them rescued the hostages and took back control of MI5 Headquarters.
After the interrogation of SMERSH operative Jasper Fondorball, Seph joined the team in traveling to the ice planet Rinnk and they all stormed SMERSH's hideout. Seph and Ainslé were tasked with rigging the SMERSH ships with explosives, cutting off SMERSH's escape route.
Amongst all the blaster fire, Ainslé took a shot to the stomach. Seph and a medic attempted to save her life, but they couldn't get her back to their ship in time. Ainslé ended up dying from her wounds. But the mission was a success in the fact that they were able to destroy the SMERSH ships. Also, Seph's fellow agents managed to kill SMERSH's leader, Stavro.
