Pandolfo Taproot was a Nosaurian warrior from New Plympto working for the Secret Galactic Intelligence Service, MI5. During his first few years with the agency, he developed useful hacking skills and became an expert with computers. He lost his life during the final battle with the criminal organization known as SMERSH.
Biography[]
Before MI5[]
While living happily in Orangewood on New Plympto, Pandolfo's settlement was invaded by slaver Krayt Brisker in 47 BBY. Pandolfo tried to fight back but was taken captive and enslaved. After being sold into slavery in the lower levels of Coruscant, Pandolfo killed his "owner" Frazier and managed to escape. Pandolfo never returned to his home planet and he never knew who the outside invaders were. Joining the anti-terrorist organization known as MI5, he hoped he could find some of those answers.

The hunt for Dr. Noah[]
Pandolfo in 42 BBY
Having befriended MI5 agent Halon, Pandolfo was sent out on his first mission during the hunt for Dr. Noah in 42 BBY.
Pandolfo and his assigned team investigated Noah's lab at the CorSec Academy on Corellia. There they found Noah's henchman Wivern, whom the MI5 agents captured and interrogated. During their search, holovids were found that showed a possible attack on the sister planets Kiffu and Kiffex. The team also found out that Captain Puss-Feller of CorSec had turned on them and joined forces with Dr. Noah.
The team later headed out for Kiffu and ended up finding Noah's space station, Noah's Ark, hiding in the electrical storm between the two planets. When their ships were dragged onboard the Ark by it's powerful tractor beam, Pandolfo and Halon hid in smuggling compartments within one of the ships so they wouldn't be captured. When the commotion died down outside, Halon left to see if he could help his teammates fight Noah's forces. Pandolfo did the same, but ended up getting lost deep within the large space station. Knowing he was lost, he back-tracked and found his way back to the Ark`s docking bay only to find the rest of his fellow agents waiting for him. Apparently, they took down Noah and his forces and Pandolfo had missed out on the entire battle.
Rescue on Hoth and the Muunraker mission[]
In 38 BBY, Pandolfo was sent to Hoth to rescue the survivors of a crashed ship. Pandolfo followed the distress signal to find Bespin Senator Vogel Kell and his entourage. Fighting the blizzard conditions, the extreme cold, a blood-thirsty wampa, and the wreckage sliding down a cliff, Pandolfo finally managed to get them out alive.
A month later, after Pandolfo had recovered from his Hoth mission, he was assigned to the mission to investigate Jordo Drax. He and fellow agents Shasta Moonreaper and Gruu Funkistann headed to Fondor in search of Drax's stash of weapons.
Upon searching records at the Obsidian City spaceport, they discovered a spaceport official named Den Drumb got into a confrontation with Jaws about the shipment of weapons. So the MI5 agents headed across Obsidian City to find Jaws. They did in fact find him, along with the enormous shipment of weapons. Placing mines, they were able to blow up the weapons, as well as the top of a building. But Jaws managed to escape. Soon after, the agents headed for Dantooine to pick up Jace Bont and Europa Kapanen.
Holly Goodlekku
They then went to Kalee and infiltrated Jordo Drax's underground compound in search of Drax. From technician Holly Goodlekku, they found out Drax was heading for his space station, so they commandeered a ship and followed him. While aboard the space station, they learned of Drax's plans to wipe out the InterGalactic Banking Clan, so they turned his own Muunraker ion cannon against him, crippling his station.
While the other agents went after Drax, Pandolfo took Holly and headed back to the docking bay to secure their ship. When the other agents finally arrived, they flew away from the exploding space station and traveled back to Coruscant.
Protecting limmie and it's spectators[]
The following year, Pandolfo was involved in the Alderaan Daylights limmie team investigation. One of the first things he did was search the security video footage at Aldera Stadium for any clues regarding Agnew's murder. While there, another victim was killed and Pandolfo was unable to stop the murderer from fleeing the scene. They discovered Bozak was murdering beings involved in the movement of the Alderaan Daylights team from Alsakan to Alderaan. While Pandolfo helped get the Daylights' team owners to safety, Jace Bont chased down Bozak and killed him. The agents later regrouped at the Q'u Branch workshop on Alderaan.
Having traced the incoming calls from Bozaks comlink, they discovered the disgruntled limmie fan, Gideon Roon, had planted explosives throughout Aldera Stadium and planned to blow it up during the championship game. Being the anti-terrorist group that they were, the MI5 agents managed to eliminate Roon and disarm the bombs to save over 100,000 innocent beings in the stadium.
The second hunt for Dr. Noah[]
In 34 BBY, Pandolfo was part of the team tasked with recapturing the escaped convict Noah and his friends. He and QUAD were sent to investigate Noah's lab on Ilum. There, they found that Noah had been conducting research on kyber crystals.
Later on during the mission, Pandolfo was able to capture Noah's accomplice Urma Boont on Khubeaie and take her into custody.
The final battle with SMERSH[]
In 32 BBY, M sent Pandolfo, Gruu Funkistann and Jace Bont to a rejuvenation health spa on Corellia called The Shrublands. While there, they were attacked by SMERSH agents. They managed to escape The Shrublands with the help of Senator Vogel Kell and eventually got off-world.
Upon their arrival at MI5 Headquarters on Coruscant, they met up with other MI5 agents outside Headquarters. The building had been completely taken over by the criminal organization SMERSH and everyone inside was held hostage. Acura Krill's clever thinking allowed them to break in to HQ. Regrouping with other agents inside, they were able to rescue the hostages and take back control of MI5 Headquarters.
The Temple of The Great One (SMERSH's hideout)
After the interrogation of Jasper Fondorball, Pandolfo was part of the team that traveled to the ice planet Rinnk to scout SMERSH's hideout. While inside, a battle raged with the SMERSH goons. Pandolfo was able to disarm a large missile that SMERSH's leader Stavro had planned to use to obliterate MI5 Headquarters and everyone in it.
After rejoining his fellow MI5 agents in chasing down Stavro, Pandolfo was hit in the chest with blaster fire from Stavro's right-hand-man Vargas, killing him. Jace Bont quickly returned fire, killing Vargas. Pandolfo's death caused Bont to ruthlessly drop Stavro from a window to his death.
As it turned out, Stavro was able to trigger the missile remotely. If Pandolfo hadn't disarmed it, everyone in SMERSH's hideout, including the MI5 agents, would have all been killed. Pandolfo's expertise as a hacker helped his fellow agents survive the mission.
After returning to Coruscant, Pandolfo was given a proper send-off.
