Galactic Emperor Palpatine Lai, also known as Emperor Palpatine or Darth Sidious, was the Galactic Ruler of the First Galactic Empire and Sith Grandmaster of the Reborn Sith.
Biography[]
Youth and becoming a Sith[]
Very little is known about Palpatine during his Birth Years and Youth, the most important knowledge garnered was that Palpatine at some time during his youth was apprenticed to Darth Plagueis the Wise and came to understand the powers of the Darkside, before however his training was complete however Sidious feared that his Master would replace him and so killed Plagueis - adopting all the Relics and Holocrons left behind after his Master's Death.
Senator and Supreme Chancellor[]
Palpatine made his way in the political field by becoming Senator of Naboo, building himself a Political and Underground Movement through the aid of Sate Pestage and had a secret relationship with Dathomiri Witch Princess: Rosalyn Lai, he also began training Darth Maul while in secret he trained his oldest son son Darth Thiole as his Shadow Hand (a.k.a Secret Apprentice, Private Agent and Expert Assassin) with help from Rosalyn.
Using Darth Maul and the Trade Federation, Palpatine wormed his way into the Heart of the Republic and controlled much of the Corruption that already infested the Senate, eventually forcing Chancellor Finis Valorum into a corner and replaced him. For the next ten years he furthered his plan, keeping his Dathomiri Wife and Shadow Hand close in order to protect himself from political enemies where he may have had either of them have a hand in even the Assassination of Finis Valorum, Palpatine went on to his next apprentice: Count Dooku. Both his Shadow Hand and he himself had found promising new talent, someone whom if sided with them could be trusted to listen to almost all their secrets and help form the Empire, that person was none other than Anakin Skywalker.

Personality and traits[]
Through his own machinations, Palpatine's personality rippled with the strong arm of the dark side, making him almost seem like an all encompassing blight of pure evil to his Force Sensitive enemies. However at heart he was similar to his family as he acted as Chancellor: he appeared as an unassuming, tea-drinking old man, almost grandfatherly, with elegant robes. With his cheery demeanor, trademark smile, and a reputation for being a kind and modest man from Naboo, he won the hearts of billions. Despite this however, Palpatine still retained his patients, vast intelligence, and his incredible acting skill as Politics demanded.
Palpatine however didn't hesitate as he did during the Clone War, as was evident: "his resolve was never stronger", he was willing to go to almost any means in which to continue his own rule and that of the Empire. His resolve after the Jedi's "attempted assassination" made him go as far as to search for means in which he could extend his life and those he cared about, eventually he gained a Holocron that had been made by the Sith Emperor himself, holding information that explained the

Palpatine was always powerful in the Force regardless of what aspect he was using, his age and the skills that he had learned allowed him to become more powerful still, as he ascended the political food-chain.
The light side[]
Though not wanting to go too deep into this aspect of the Force, Palpatine did however look into the abilities used by the Jedi, including the abilities of deflection and healing.
