Padmé Amidala (In Real Time) was a Nabooian Queena and later Senator in the years leading up to and during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Born to the Naberrie family, Padmé was well known by the people of the city Theed. She was always helping where she could, considered mature for her age she was put several grades ahead in school, at age 14 when the election for the monarch of Naboo was about to begin she was working in The Legislative Youth program, she was pressured by the Naboo people to run for Queen, She agreed and ran under the name Amidala.
In a stunning 78% of the vote she won a landslide and would rule over Naboo as their Monarch, frequently meeting with Senator Palpatine who she both admired and feared.
Career[]
Once Queen Padmé enacted several new laws, refusing to become a puppet Monarch much to the displeasure of Palpatine and several higher officials, she chose to create a Parliament and limit her power, she disarmed Naboo's major military, replacing them with simple security forces and N1 Starfighters.
Eventually her Planet came under attack by The Trade Federation who attempted to kidnap her, two Jedi Knights Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi escorted her to safety with the help of the Gungan Jar Jar Binks, They would first land on Tatooine where she met the Slave boy Anakin Skywalker, Once on Coruscant she would make a plea to The Republic for help but to no avail, instead she decided to place a Vote of No confidence in Chancellor Valorum, Which lead to Naboo native Sheev Palpatine to become Chancellor.
Returning to Naboo she would help free the planet with assistance from The Gungans, uniting the two people's of Naboo.
Ten Years later she would become the victim of an Assassination plot, she and the now Jedi Anakin Skywalker would escape to Naboo where they would begin a secret romance, soon after the two along with Obi Wan Kenobi would all be captured by The Separatist Alliance, She would eventually escape The Arena and be brought aboard a prototype Venator Class for recovery inside it's medical bay.
