Biography[]
Oton Baynes was born on the world of Onderon, and was there trained as an senior intelligence officer. In 11 BBY, his distaste towards the Galactic Empire was manifest to the point that he discovered highly sensitive data of Imperial origin, and secretly decided to bring it to Coruscant for a proper annalist. By diverting rumor and fact, Oton was able to pinpoint a hidden Rebel base. He was at first met with suspicion, though he quickly gained the Rebellion's trust when he supplied the stolen vault transfer information, leading the Rebellion to siege a transport ship with hundreds of millions of credits. In 22 BBY, Oton Baynes became one of the youngest people to ever achieve a position in the Alliance High Command, though he was one of five Alliance officers who believed that the Rebellion had ineffective methods to ending the Galactic Civil War. He later became on of the five founding members of the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Faction, and was the leader of the Qoya intelligence annalist division.
