Operation: Grasslands, better known as Mission to Boaca, was the Galactic Republic's first highly classified mission during the Second Clone Wars, executed by three of the most elite task force teams of the Great Clone Forces: the Draen Squad and two LET groups. Since the planet Boaca was heavily covered with about three hundred Dark Empire outposts, the ultimate goal for the clone troopers was to eliminate every single station under a minimum time of three-months' campaign.
In their mission to weaken one of the most vital spots in the Empire's defensive lines, the clones were constantly supplied with ammunition and nourishment through covert supply drops during an entirety of the operation.
Due to the failure of the strike team, Draen Squad's assault on the final three outposts and the increasing heavy casualties, the campaign was cancelled. The corpses of the deceased clones were left behind until the Imperial forces were cleared out from the planet later on in the war, when the Republic returned to retrieve them.
