The One Sith have spent a few centuries building their strength in the depths of the Outer Rim Territories. The Emperor, who we call as Darth Charon, patiently planned for the day when his Empire would repay the Galactic Federation Triumvirate for the humiliating defeats of the past. This was same thing that happened during the era of the Old Republic when the Sith have devoted their lives to the dream of vengeance.
—Mal Skywalker on Holonet

The One Sith Empire was a newly formed government which was established in the galaxy's Unknown Regions This Empire, also known as the True Sith sect, was created after Sith survivors of Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Nihl disastrous campaign against the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, the New Jedi Order, and the Fel Empire fled known space to escape persecution. Led by the Sith Lord Darth Glovoc, the refugees wandered aimlessly through space to find a place to hide. The Sith eventually took resettled in the forgotten world of Dromund Kaas, and began the process of rebuilding the Sith Empire.

During the rebuilding process, Darth Glovoc proclaimed himself to be the Dark Lord of his order and Emperor of his people. Under the care of the Emperor and his Dark Council, the Empire rebuilt its capitol of Kaas City, with the intent of eventually returning to combat the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, New Jedi Order, and Fel Empire. Three hundred twenty years later, the One Sith Empire, still under the command of Darth Glovoc, returned to the greater galaxy to seek their revenge. After covertly installing puppet governments on Alliance worlds across the Outer Rim Territories, the Sith invaded Alliance space in an onslaught of unrivaled proportions.
