On Her Majesty's Security Service is a role playing game on TheForce.Net Role Playing Forum. It is the second in a series of games based on a peace-keeping organization called the Secret Galactic Intelligence Service, also known as MI5.
The Plot[]
Queen Teresaa of Naboo has been a long-time supporter of MI5. She applauds their efforts to keep the galaxy safe. One of the Queen's protectors recently stumbled across information that may lead to a possible assassination attempt on Teresaa's life. Most of the details are unknown. The Queen has asked MI5 to aid her Security Service in defending against this awful threat.
The Story[]
The Assassination Attempt[]
After M's briefing at MI5 Headquarters on Coruscant, the agents are assigned specific duties for the coming mission and quickly head out to Naboo.
When the advance team gets to Naboo ahead of the Queen, they begin their investigation by questioning contacts and locals. They also find and eliminate a few assassins that were hired to shoot at the Queen. Joss Vendu and Ruana Trebond end up capturing one of the hired assassins (Pots Putnyocus) and take him in to be interrogated...and they used questionable methods to do it.
Soon, the Queen's ship arrives and the MI5 agents are prepared for anything that may happen. The Queen and her Handmaiden Jai Tochiki switch positions in hopes of throwing off the attackers. But when the entourage reaches the street in front of the Palace, the assassin Adder, disguised as a Royal Naboo Security Force officer, fires at the disguised Queen, grazing her shoulder. Then the battle begins.

Adder escapes by fleeing through the sewer system while Gruu Funkistann rushes the injured Queen to Oorahahra Keskay's nearby speeder, so Keskay can rush her safely to the Palace.
When Adder resurfaced, he contacted the Bothan that hired him and he instructed Adder to go back into the Palace and rescue Pots Putnyocus from the torture. Meanwhile, a small army of soldiers wearing blue jumpsuits were marching on the Palace. The MI5 agents were trying to hold them off to protect the Queen inside. As the army kept the agents busy, Adder managed to get Pots out unnoticed.
While the blue troops outside tried to get in, the agents tried to formulate a plan. Since the Palace wasn't safe any longer, they decided to evacuate the Queen to Sounil Mistry's ship the Last Bolt. In doing so, Gruu headed to the underwater cities to see if he could get the Gungan army to help. But a little while later, during the evac from the Palace, a young Gungan named Ruby showed up explaining that her underwater cities have been attacked, the Gungans taken as slaves, and the Jedi Gruu Funkistann taken prisoner...all by the same blue-clothed army.
The Agents Split Up[]
Noir Lumiere, who had been hiding out on Naboo since the Ryloth mission, had succumbed to the Dark Side of the Force and now called himself "Darth Attacus". Attacus had come out of hiding and took the shapeshifting MI5 agent Devon as his slave.
Agents Vendu and Keskay follow Adder and Pots into the hidden underworld of Theed, only to be faced with a small army of thugs that Adder had at the ready. After Vendu defeated Lisia outside the inn known as the Rusty Dagger, a chase ensued. Adder managed to escape back to his ship, but Pots ended up getting re-captured.
Markus Carfax, Ruana and Hawk took the Queen back to Coruscant on the Last Bolt. But as they came out of hyperspace, they received a message that told them to stay away from Coruscant because bounty hunters got word that the Queen had escaped the battle. But the agents didn't know that the message was a fake one sent out by Darth Attacus. So the Last Bolt ended up landing on Baar, Carfax's home planet.
After scanning the area around the Palace, Sounil found a submersible vehicle that they could use to head down to the underwater cities to free the Gungans and rescue Gruu.
And during all that, Onolar Neot had been knocked unconscious during the battle and woke up after the agents split up. Having found himself left behind in a Naboo Security Force hospital, he headed back to Coruscant to meet up with M.
So, the agents on the Last Bolt left the Queen on Baar then encountered the assassin Mesa Verde before their departure; Vendu left the assassin Pots locked up in his ship; Adder headed back to Nar Shadda to recover; and Attacus rammed Sounil's bongo into a wall of the Gungan city destoying the bubble.
Now, the remaining agents on Naboo, all converged on the underwater city.
The Rescue and Battle in the Underwater City[]
While the battle raged between the agents and the blue-clad troops in the underwater city on Naboo, the three agents on Baar (Carfax, Ruana, and Hawk) fought back against Mesa Verde. Also, on Nar Shadda, Adder was gathering friends of his to form his Team Blood Trinity.
After Gruu was finally rescued, the unknown Bothan villain MI5 had been chasing contacted the agents through a hologram. He revealed himself to be Digika, and this whole plan of assassinating Queen Teresaa, while killing MI5 agents in the process, was about revenge for The Baron's defeat on Ryloth months earlier. Digika then set off a series of bombs he had planted throughout the underwater city, hoping to kill the agents. But they all made it out safely and headed for the surface.
During Digika's hologram transmission, Carfax managed to trace his signal to a small, unknown moon near Naboo, which the agents deemed the Mystery Moon.
While all the commotion was happening underwater, a female Bothan working with Digika, managed to free Pots from Vendu's ship. But Pots became badly wounded in the process, tearing up the left side of his face.
On the Mystery Moon, Carfax, Ruana and Hawk entered the lone base belonging to the Bothans. During the infiltration, they came across a prisoner, Mitch Nifesta, who happened to be an old friend of Markus'.
Back on Naboo, the agents regroup back on the surface, only to find that Gruu has been lured away by Noir/Attacus. After a short lightsaber duel, Gruu ended up injured and Noir escaped. At the same time, MI5 Mission Analyst Angeo Lim arrived in a battleship to assist the agents on the planet's suface.
Final Conflicts[]
While the agents were leaving Naboo's surface, Adder sent his two new teammates Twist and Flak to attack MI5. They succeeded in incapacitating Hardcastle, but a fierce battle ensued over Theed that involved multiple ships and droid fighters. The result was the destruction of half of Theed, Flak and Twist's deaths, Sounil Mistry and Joss Vendu clinging to life, and an angered M. The Head of MI5 then ordered all agents off of Naboo, and had the remaining agents head to the Mystery Moon.
The battle on the Moon didn't last too long. Together, Carfax, Ruana, Hawk, and their new teammate Mitch, managed to capture both Digika and the female Bothan Urma Boont alive. It was revealed that Urma Boont was actually the mastermind behind everything, and Digika was only a replica droid, but made up to look like a Bothan instead of a Human. And Digika was only meant to be a decoy.
And Urma Boont mentioned the "higher organization" that she worked for, which was SMERSH, but MI5 had no knowledge of it at the time.

Timeframe[]
The events of On Her Majesty's Security Service take place in 42 BBY, 6 months after the events of From Ryloth With Love, but only 1 month before CarbonEye. (Also see: Star Wars... 007 Style timeline)

Behind The Scenes[]
This game (On Her Majesty's Security Service) was named after the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. And some of the characters in the game (Queen Teresaa, Ruby, Urma Boont) were named after some of the characters from that film (Teresa di Vicenzo, Ruby Bartlett, Irma Bunt).
