Obon Koloth was a Gran billionaire who became the final leader of the Cult of Exposure.
Biography[]
He was born on Hok in 681 BBY the son of Koa Koloth and heir of the Koloth Galactic Shipping and Supply Company. When he took over the family business in 650 BBY he first crossed paths with Evallon Messine. The two did not get along well but they had a mutual friend, Medoa Beffarni, who persuaded Messine to allow Koloth into the Cult of Exposure. In 631 BBY Messine disappeared and Medoa managed to persuade the Cult to make Koloth their new leader.
Elderous Valorum hired Exactor to destroy the Cult in 624 BBY. Exactor deceived Koloth into thinking that another member, Indirri Dant, intended to kill him and he hired the assassin to kill her. However, when the droid received payment from Koloth's Human servant, Borkul Wroud, he exposed him to the Gran killing plague known as wretch. Since the plague only affected Gran, Wroud was fine while Koloth and his family and millions of other Gran throughout the Core Worlds.
