OOM-27 was a OOM-series battle droid in the clone wars. He had independant thought and was trained by OOM-5 and served as his second-in-command. He was recognized by dark green markings on his body. After OOM-5's death, he took command of the remaining group and led them for the rest of the Clone Wars. His second-in-command became OOM-13-50. When the clone wars ended, most droids shut down, but since OOM-27 was independent, he remained online. He and 13-50 went their seperate ways, and he eventually settled down at Dantooine, planning his revenge on the empire. Five Years after the clone wars ended, a Rebel Alliance Captain arrived on Dantooine. OOM-27 agreed with the Rebels' purpose and joined the Rebel Alliance and was reunited with 13-50 at Hoth. After the Batle of Hoth, he served as a security officer on several starships including the Redemption, the Independence, and the Home One at the battle of Endor. He also learned how to pilot many types of starfighters during his time in the Alliance. After the Battle of endor, OOM-27 continued serving the New Republic as the leader of a legion stationed at Ithor.
