The Nonderan Jedi Encampment was established by the Galactic Republic in 35 BBY. It was used as a camp for Jedi who were assigned to guard the city of Falmar. All Jedi who were stationed there were volunteers. It served as their home for three years, until being abandoned in 32 BBY. The only thing left to prove that the encampment was ever there was a plaque dedicated to the Jedi who fought and/or died there.

Creation[]

When Durja Lanew discovered the small planet called Nonderan, the entire planet voted on whether it should join the Galactic Republic. Fifty-three percent of the population chose yes, and so it was done. However, forty-seven percent, still a massive amount, said no. Believing that the Galactic Republic would corrupt the thoughts of the Nonderanian people, some of the forty-seven percent decided to rebel.

In order to strengthen ties with the Nonderanians, the Galactic Republic started a massive project to create Nonderan’s first multi-species city. They called the city Falmar. But with the rising revolts against the Galactic Republic, a task force would have to be assembled to defend Falmar from threats. A group of Jedi was assembled and set up an encampment around a massive boulder just outside of Falmar.

Plaque[]

This plaque is rightfully dedicated to all of the brave and wise Jedi who fought and/or died to protect Falmar. Although their lives will pass, their memories will not. The following is a list of all of the Jedi who were stationed here.
