It has come to my attention that a group of Terrorists have threatened to assassinate me.
—Supreme Chancellor Palpatine
The Nockudumey Terrorists, despite its name, was not actually a terrorist organization according to one of its leaders, Bodotor Thuvat. Its founder was Darth Revan, who intended to use the Nockudumey to save the Republic, but eventually other leaders succeeded him and turned the Nockudumey into an actual terrorist organization.
History[]
Early history[]
How can you, after all you've done...who was your founder?"
"Darth Revan.
—Tarisian Drewton and Bodotor Thuvat
The Nockudumey was founded by Darth Revan sometime around 3,955 BBY. According to Bodotor Thuvat, Revan intended to use the Nockudumey to save the Republic, but eventually other leaders succeeded him and turned the Nockudumey into an actual terrorist organization.[1] It is very likely that originally "terrorists" was not part of the organization's name.
Post-corruption[]
Bodotor Thuvat became leader of the Nockudumey in 24 BBY. Unlike most of his predecessors, Thuvat in secret followed Revan's original plans for the Nockudumey, and Dem Nozah was the only one who knew of his goals.[1] He made his first public move when threatening to assassinate Supreme Chancellor Palpatine in 22.5 BBY, though only to be noticed by the Republic.[2]

After this they had skirmishes with Republic Peace Keepers. The first was on Mithus.[2] In the second in the underlevels of Coruscant, the Peace Keepers found a weapon that could destroy an entire city,[3] but it was planted there by two Trandoshans and a Bith who were not necessarily associated with the Nockudumey.[1]
When the Clone Wars started, the terrorists' base had been moved to Nar Shaddaa, and seemed to becoming more secretive, having no battles with the Republic by the time of the Battle of Delta Station.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
The Nockudumey were mentioned in chapter eighteen of The Chosen One, an alternative version of Star Wars: Episode I and part of Brandon Rhea's Alternative Star Wars Saga, when Mace Windy asked Jango Fett who he was working for.[5] Rhea mentioned the Nockudumey as a way of thanking Drewton, the creator of the Nockudumey Terrorists, for an interview Drewton conducted with him for The Chosen One and for a review of the novel that Drewton was writing at the time.[6]
