New Republic era

The Neo-Imperial Movement was an organisation that emerged after the Battle of Endor that advocated for the revival of the New Order established by Emperor Palpatine as the Galactic Empire collapsed into civil war and warlordism. It was founded in 5 ABY, not long before the fall of Coruscant to the New Republic, and was led by four main figures. They were General Oscar Caramon, Imperial Intelligence deputy director Martek Serbe, Loronar Corporation chief executive Luthir Hakon, and Black Sun Vigo Neru Elric. The four of them conspired to use their resources to take over the Imperial government and restore the Galactic Empire to the zenith of its power.

They attempted to get an enigmatic young Dark Side Adept known as Jovan Kayser to lead their organisation because they believed he would be a new Palpatine that could reunite the Empire. Martek Serbe was also aware of some details of Jovan's past, including the secret experiments at Imperial Orphanage 511 on Byss run by Inquisitorius years ago to create a new class of dark side "over-men," and thought that Jovan was the only one who unite the elite group that "graduated" from that institution. However, Jovan remained distant and only used the Movement's resources for his own ends, which he kept from the four leaders. Because of this they instead tried to use another dark sider, Chretein Rhodanthe, to use as their figurehead as a replacement for Jovan. The organisation eventually fell apart as it fell prey to Jovan's "plan," which changed after he decided to cut all ties to the Movement and instead research his origins.
