Nelfa Loban was a female Ragithian Human soldier and martial artist during the Clone Wars.
Biography[]
Early life[]
Nelfa was born on Ragith III in 44 BBY to Quidel and Sayen Loban. Quidel was a career officer in the Republic Navy and was rarely around during the early years of his daughter's life.
Adolescence[]
In 27 BBY Nelfa arrived home early from school. Hoping to surprise her father she creep quietly towards his study. She opened the door just in time to she her father put his old service blaster to his head and pull the trigger.
Adult Life[]
After her father's death Nelfa went to live with her paternal grandmother, her closest surviving relative. After finishing public school she enrolled at a nearby mid-level university with a vague plan to pursue a career in sports medicine.
Outwardly it seemed as if she'd moved on but an emptiness grew inside Nelfa. Her inability to prevent her father's suicide and her mother abandoning the family ate away at her constantly. Over time the emptiness began to fill with anger and Nelfa wanted more than anything to find someone, anyone she could punish for her hardships.
This did not go unnoticed by Separatist sympathizers who had infiltrated the campus looking for talented but impressionable young people they could lure to their side. One such radical approached Nelfa one day, inviting her to "a private discussion group." Attending on a whim, Nelfa slowly started to be drawn in by the propaganda.
The radicals tapped into her resentment of the Republic Navy who she felt had used and tossed her father aside leaving him a broken man. From there it wasn't hard to convince her that the real fault was with the irredeemably corrupt Republic itself and the Jedi who'd labored for centuries to prop up a sham of a government. By the time she finished her degree Nelfa was a true believer in the cause.
The timing would prove fortunate for the Separatists as the Battle of Geonosis would occur only ten days after Nelfa's graduation.
The Clone Wars[]
Nelfa's first assignment as an official member of the Confederacy military was as the aide-de-camp to CIS general Sev'rance Tann. But when Tann was killed by Jedi Master Echuu Shen-Jon one month into the Clone Wars Nelfa's military career was seriously set back. Instead of the officer fast track Nelfa was given bodyguard duty for several prominent Separatists leaders such as Whorm Loathsome, Edi Wedd and Passel Argente.
During the Clone Wars Nelfa was officially credited with killing two Jedi padawans and one knight in unarmed combat.
Under the Command of the Coven[]
In 22 BBY Nelfa found herself suddenly placed under the command of the Separatist black ops team codenamed "The Coven." This codename was a simple veil to hide the true nature of the group, the Dark Side Coven, from anti-darksider elements on both sides of the war.
Caught in the Rampage[]
On her first solo mission Nelfa was assigned to escort a defector from Coruscant to a safehouse in Confederacy space. However, Nelfa found herself suddenly just fighting to stay alive as her mission was interrupted by the Zillo Beast's rampage.
Starting Over on Nar Shaddaa[]
She's the only woman I've ever met tall enough to look a Wookiee in the eye and mean enough to make one blink.

Nelfa arrives on Nar Shadda.
Nelfa's work during the Clone Wars caught the attention of Gulsa the Hutt not long after her arrival on Nar Shaddaa. Always one to snap up promising talent, Gulsa hired Nelfa as a bouncer at his popular nightclub Broken Heaven. Pleased at the speed with which she established herself as a person not to trifled with, Gulsa began grooming Nelfa to be an enforcer in his growing organization. She served as a bodyguard to him on multiple occasions and roughed up several "problem customers" outside of club hours on Gulsa's orders.
Heaven's On Fire[]
During a bombing at Broken Heaven Nelfa was struck by a piece of debris in the head knocking her out. Incendiaries in the bomb caused a fire to spread rapidly. Nelfa would have perished along with many other in the blast if Laris Rai had not pulled her to safety.
Aboard the Fortunate Sun[]
Peril on Raxus Prime[]
Acting on information from a dying clone deserter, the Fortunate Sun crew headed to Raxus Prime hoping to loot a secret bunker that had once been a secret hideout of Count Dooku.

Personality and Traits[]
Nelfa was an accomplished martial artist who through most of her career favored no one style in particular. Citing the ancient martial arts creed of "Be like water" she studied everything from shockboxing to military hand-to-hand training manuals. After being recruited by the Separatists her martial prowess was noticed and after proving her skills she was selected for intensive Teräs Käsi training.
Using techniques created for clone assassins, the Separatists hoped to create field agents who could combat Jedi unarmed on the battlefield. Again, Nelfa proved herself to be among the best of the best and she was also given training in Echani martial arts.
In addition to her martial arts skills Nelfa had advanced knowledge of first aid and sports medicine thanks to her years of treating her own injuries and college studies. She was also fluent in Huttese.
