The Necr'ygor Omics were the sentient descendants of a non-sentient reptilian species. They evolved on Necr'ygor, a jungle planet located in the Necr'ygor system within the Chommell sector of the Mid Rim. It fell into the area of space known as the Trailing Sectors. They shared their home sector with the Gungans, the Jafani, the Karlinusians, and the Lofquarians. It became a part of Republic Space during the Clone Wars. In 25 ABY, their homeworld's population was up to 1 billion. Their homeworld became a part of the Darth Krayt's Sith Empire in 137 ABY.
