Nawbacca, or known sometimes as Nawie, was a male Wookiee warrior during the Wookiee-Trandoshan War. He was the leader of the Wookiee defense on Kashyyyk and accepted the aid of the Jedi to protect Kashyyyk from the Trandoshan slavers. He became a good friend of Zorin Durandu.
