Nataska Vergulva was one of the most prominent heroes of the Srav Federation during the Cruentusian War. Brought up as a Rataka slave, she quickly rose through the Srav ranks with her exceptional skill. Usually armed with a high-powered sniper rifle and explosives, Nataska was an expert sniper and demolitions expert, and was capable of calling down nuclear missile strikes. She was somewhat icy in battle, although she very rarely showed a more feminine tender side. She participated in many battles throughout the war, notably at Hypori and Tandankin.
When military commander Ivran Gresev took control of the Srav Federation in a coup, Vergulva was marked as an enemy by him and was forced to flee. She proceeded to reluctantly join the United Coalition of Worlds, and undertook tasks for it. Following the war, she assumed leadership of the Srav Federation but continued to play a part in UCW leadership. With Haveer Jarn, she bore a son, Samuel Jarn, one of the founders of the Galactic Republic.
