The Nakamura Empire, also known as Anna's Imperial Remnant, and known by the Union-Confederate Alliance as the New Empire, was a military dictatorship formed in 12 ABY from the combined forces of the Nakamura Alignment, Imperial Remnant, Pentastar Alignment, and various other imperial warlord factions. Led by self-declared Galactic Empress Annabelle Nakamura, the Nakamura Empire had spread out in the galaxy, defeated other warlords, absorbed and reorganized their forces into her Empire.
The Nakamura Empire's Supreme Commander was James Lovegood, considered to be Anna's most loyal officer and lover.

Formation and growth[]
After killing those at Tsoss Beacon, including Admirals Daala and Pellaeon, she took the combined forces of each of their factions and formed the Nakamura Empire and gaining control over new territory in other parts of the galaxy as well.
After returning to her homeworld and capital, Corellia, she had ordered a new class of Star Destroyer for construction, which became the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, replacing the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer. During this period of military build up, the Empire had no desire to start a war against the New Republic and left them to their own devices.
Military build up[]
For eight uninterrupted years, the Nakamura Empire spent its defense budget on building up its military power and invested heavily into its navy, constructing Resurgent-class Star Destroyers and TIE series starfighters as well as ground vehicles and its troops recruitment and maintained a tight grip over its territories.
However due to the mass production of Resurgent-class Star Destroyers, the New Republic questioned the Empire's intentions as to why they were building up so many and only responded with that the borders and territories of the Empire needed to be protected. The Navy then started to explore the Outer Rim Territories for more resources and while searching, patrol corvettes came across old debris of Clone Wars-era warships that were drifting away in space and upon inspecting the debris, they had found evidence of an outer solar system beyond the Outer Rim.
Discovery[]
After the discovery of an old Clone Wars-era starship debris drifting away in space beyond the southern Outer Rim Territories, the Navy was ordered to send out viper probe droids to explore the coordinates found on the destroyed starship and found a planet covered in a red surface and that it was populated with human beings. Later the Empire was ordered to send a consular ship to serve as ambassadors and make first contact with the local population.
New Allies[]
After the initial encounter, the Nakamura Home Fleet was called to the planet along with Annabelle herself and had began discussions with the Union-Confederate Alliance about retaking the planet of Earth and overthrow the Empire that ruled it.
