The Nakamura Clan was the ruling Kazokan clan on the Inner Rim world Kazoku as its patriarch served as Emperor of the Shogunate Commission and the Nakamura Shogunate. The clan presided over the Nakamura Province with a High Daimyo as the chairman of its provincial council. It's patriarch was Nakamura Takanari. Nakamura Akihiko was the only child and served as Prince.
Prince Akihiko later married Suna of the Kamisato Clan and she became Princess of the Nakamura Clan. Suna's eldest daughter became the matriarch of the clan while Tsuna, Suna's youngest, remained as the Kamisato Clan's Daimyo until her appointment as the planet's Senator by Emperor Nakamura.
The Nakamura Clan was the most known, prominent and famous clan in Kazokan society due to the actions of Yahata Shogun, an ancient Shogun who led the clan and the Daimyos of allied clans during the Kazokan Wars to end the warring period of civil war on Kazoku. Although Yahata was killed six years into his mission, his mantle would be carried on by Daimyo Yoshiie of the Seiwa Clan, who would be honoured in the Nakamura Clan and in society as Genji Shogun.
