Myn Malorum was a human male Senate Guard in the Galactic Republic, then Red Guard, and finally an Emperor's Royal Guard in the Galactic Empire. Myn started out under the New Order as an Imperial Senate Guard, but rode up to Royal Guard and then Emperor's Shadow Guard, as a result of his Force-sensitivity. He was trained by Palpatine personally, along with Inquisitors and later his Dark Side Elite. He was devoted to the Emperor, since he became the Supreme Chancellor during the Clone Wars and to the Declaration of the New Order.
Being devoted to the Emperor, Myn carried out his assignments without question and was considered one of Palpatine's most loyal and devoted guardsmen. He sometimes was sent to Yinchorr, where an academy for guardsmen was located, to train trainees.
During the conflict with the Confederacy of Independent Systems, he served as a Senate Guard and eventually rose to Senate Commando. Myn was promoted to captain, and led a unit of commandos that oversaw the personal security of then-Chancellor Palpatine. Him and the unit were first of his Red Guards, the predecessors of the Royal Guards.
