Muunraker (pronounced "MYOON-ray-ker") is a fan fiction story in the Star Wars... 007 Style series. It is the seventh story in the series but the first fanfic (the others being role playing games). It continues the stories of the anti-terrorist organization called the Secret Galactic Intelligence Service, also known as MI5.

The PlotEdit

Veteran MI5 operative Shasta Moonreaper is teamed up with rookie agent Jace Bont to take down an illegal arms dealer. The capture of the criminal leads MI5 to billionaire Jordo Drax, for whom the arms dealer was working. Dispatching a team of agents to investigate Drax, MI5 soon discovers a terrorist plot that will threaten the entire galaxy.

TimeframeEdit

The events of Muunraker take place in 38 BBY, 1 year after Casino Royale and 6 years before Episode I: The Phantom Menace. (Also see: Star Wars... 007 Style timeline)

Behind The ScenesEdit

Muunraker was named after the James Bond film Moonraker. The characters from the fanfic, Holly Goodlekku, Jordo Drax and Jaws, were named after the characters Holly Goodhead, Hugo Drax and Jaws from that Bond film.

Since MI5 operative Gruu Funkistann was also a Jedi Knight, the scene where Gruu and Qui-Gon Jinn talk about Obi-Wan Kenobi was meant to explain why Obi-Wan didn't recognize the Gungans in Episode I: The Phantom Menace and relate directly to that scene in the film. Even though Gruu was a Jedi, he hardly spent any time at the Jedi Temple, so Obi-Wan had never met him.
