Mustafar was a lava planet in the Outer Rim Territories, one filled with numerous rivers of lava and volcanoes.

Clone Wars[]
During the end of the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi fought Darth Vader on Mustafar, leaving Vader forever scarred with severe burns that required him to remain in an armored suit for the rest of his life. Before Vader arrived and murdered them, the Separatist Council was sent there to remain in hiding.
New Confederation of Systems[]
Years later, a Mustafar base was built and used by the New Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Droid Wars[]
Mustafar was the site of the Battle of Mustafar during the Droid Wars.
