The Murese Sith, known in the Sith language as Tsis Murûyanjat,[1][2][3][4] were an ethnolinguistic tribe of Sith Purebloods endemic to the extra-galactic fortress world of Mure. This group was formed from the descendants of those Kûskûshnwûlanjattsisottoikut refugees who had interbred with each other in the years following their colonization of Mure. Incorporating facets of Rakata culture and language into their own on account of their association with the Mure tribe, the Murese Sith evolved into a separate sect of the mainline Sith more akin to the Sorcerers of Tund than the reconstituted Sith Empire.[5] Though they continued to support the traditional dark-sided krato-magocratic beliefs of their ancestors,[6] the Murese Sith were significantly more collectivist than the Sith of the old Empire and did not conform to the individualist tenets of the Code of the Sith.[6][7] Like their Tundan counterparts,[5] they embraced the monist Unifying Force philosophy traditionally espoused by the Rakata.[5]
