The Murese Premodernity, also known as the Classical period, was a period of Murese cultural history lasting from the fall of Sventoveruozas, the last independent city of the Second Predorate of Mure, in 13,137 BBY until the creation of the Third Predorate by Ziaurus in 9,443 BBY.
This time period was marked by a shift in the culture of the Sith of Mure away from the migratory tribal society they had embraced since 25,200 BBY and towards a more sedentary agricultural society. This shift was primarily affected by the successful conquests of the disparate Rakata city-states that comprised the Second Predorate of Mure, a vestigial remnant of the Infinite Empire's Predorate of Mure that had remained in power on the planetary equator following the fall of the greater Empire. Free to settle the rich and arable land on the equator, the Murese moved into the conquered Rakata cities and began developing a feudal society of their own that lasted until the proclamation of the Third Predorate by the warlord Ziaurus in 9,443 BBY.
