The Multiblaster was a weapon created by MI5's Q'u Branch.
It was a blaster cannon that was mounted on a stand that swiveled. The mechanism could be programmed to shoot at multiple targets. Once the targets were programmed into it, it was ready for activation. Upon activation, the blaster would fire at it's first target, then swivel to fire on it's next target, swivel again for the third target, and so on. Since all it's targets were programmed, it tracked them on it's own and didn't need someone to actually turn it and pull the trigger. It was completely automated.
The Multiblaster could also be activated remotely.
MI5 utilized the Multiblaster in 32 BBY when they took back control of MI5 Headquarters from Jasper Fondorball and rescued the hostages.
