Moteé was a female Human who served Senator Padmé Amidala alongside her fellow handmaiden, Ellé during the Clone Wars.

Biography[]

Moteé was one of the few who were aware of Padmé's pregnancy, and her secret marriage to Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, both secrets that she would never let loose. Moteé would tend to Padmé in whatever ways possible and stand in for her whenever the Senator wished to meet up with her husband.

She was present in the Senate rotunda the day that Supreme Chancellor Palpatine declared the formation of a Galactic Empire. Like Amidala herself, Moteé was dismayed at the "thunderous applause" the new Emperor received. She was later present in the funeral of Padmé Amidala and was concerned how she died. Along with Ellé, they returned to Coruscant when Silya Shessaun planned to launch a Senate inquest of Amidala's death and how she was killed.

After Palpatine blocked Sheesaun's attempts, Moteé and Ellé continued secretly on their investigation and finally discover the truth when they had a brief conversation with Bail Prestor Organa. When they were about to spread the intel, Senator Fema Baab discovered this and ordered their arrest for treason against the Empire. Moteé and Ellé were taken along with others that stood against the Empire, to the Imperial Judiciary Central Detention Center and were executed by Darth Vader.
