Molkir Tyd was a Gados Jedi who survived Order 66.
Biography[]
Clone Wars[]
Molkir was born on the Gados homeworld of Abregado-rae and was born Force-sensitive. Shortly after his birth, he was discovered by the Jedi Order and brought back to Coruscant for training. After his training was complete, he was chosen to be the padawan of the Elomin Jedi Tadra Kren. Molkir showed great talent in the art of healing, and often assisted the injured with his gift. Molkir often had to accompany his master on many dangerous missions due to the sudden outbreak of the Clone Wars, and the two often fought alongside Tadra's friend Yulo Gart. All three of them were present at the First Battle of Kamino, where they worked alongside the 179th Legion. During the battle, Molkir became separated from his master and was had to rely on a newly deployed Clone Commander to help him. Together the two managed to defeat a Dwarf Spider droid, before turning their sights on a squad of battle droids. Molkir even aided the Clone by having using The Force to send a crashing Vulture droid into another.
Molkir and his master were also at the Battle of Teyr, where they again commanded the 179th Legion. Because they were on a different part of the planet than the one K'Kruhk was on, they suffered less casualties. Later during the War, the three Jedi were sent to Muunilist in order to aide Obi-Wan Kenobi in taking the planet from the Separatists. While Yulo participated in the space battle, Tadra and Molkir were deployed on the ground and together the two managed to destroy a laser cannon which posed a threat to the LAATs. They were later sent to the Battle of Iktotch, where Molkir watched Mace Windu's skills in awe. During the Battle of Terra Sool, Molkir managed to down a Conqueror-class atmospheric dreadnought through skill, impressing Yulo.
Order 66[]
During the last days of the Clone Wars, Molkir, his master, Yulo and Di Groota were sent to the planet Dimock in order to prevent the inhabitants from joining the Confederacy of Independent Systems, although they were fighting a losing battle. The Jedi were diverted from their mission to rescue a clan of Jedi younglings that had survived the destruction of a Star Destroyer. The rescue mission was a success and the Jedi began transporting the younglings to a city where they could be taken to Coruscant. However, while they were doing so, Order 66 was initiated, and their Clone Troopers betrayed them. The Jedi managed to hijack an RTT and escaped in it. Realizing that they could not run forever, Tadra commanded Molkir to escape and take the younglings with him. As they were leaving, Molkir saw his master and Yulo being shot down by their own soldiers. They managed to reach a city and hired a smuggler to take them offworld.
Jedi training[]
They managed to reach Artus Prime and went into hiding. While there, Molkir taught the younglings in the ways of The Force. He taught them how to control it, as well as how to construct their own lightsabers. Molkir and the padawans began acting as vigilantes, protecting the people of Artus Prime from pirates and criminals. Eventually he taught his padawans everything he could and was impressed at the skills they exhibited. After the fall of the Empire, Molkir considered rejoining civilization, but decided against it.
Battle of Artus Prime[]
In 12 ABY, the Empire Reborn managed to take Artus Prime in a bid to create an army of Force-sensitive soldiers. Realizing that they could not stop the Empire on their own, Molkir's group waited for a better opportunity to strike. When the Battle of Artus Prime was initiated, Molkir and his padawans emerged from hiding and aided the New Republic in defeating the Empire Reborn. After the battle, Kyle Katarn thanked them for their help and told them that the Jedi Order had since been reestablished and that Luke Skywalker would be happy to help Molkir with his students.
