Mitth'el'miurani (born Mitth'el'theles), more commonly known by his core name "Thel," was an agent of the Sith Empire's Ministry of Intelligence and a merit adoptive of House Miurani. Thel gained notoriety in the wider Galaxy during the Cold War between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire. During the Old Republic, Thel operated under the callsigns 'Cipher Nine' and 'Nightshrike'.
During the Cold War and the subsequent Second Great War, Thel served in the Empire's Strike Team Fury, a group of the Empire's greatest heroes. After the fall of the Eternal Empire and the onset of the Third Great War, Thel served as a member of the newly reformed Hand of the Empire.
History[]
Early Life[]
Mitth'el'theles, also known by the corename "Thel" was born on the planet Csilla in 3669 BBY. By the age of twenty, Thel had joined the Chiss Secret Police and his skills quickly earned him renown throughout the Chiss Ascendancy. At some point around 3645 BBY, Thel left Chiss Secret Police to join the resurgent Sith Empire's Ministry of Intelligence.
Thel gained an excellent reputation within Imperial Intelligence, though he remained largely unknown within the wider Empire.
Much later in his career, Thel became a merit adoptive of House Miurani. In typical Chiss fashion, Thel rebranded himself to ensure his most prominent family relations were represented in his new name. Thusly, Mitthe'esto'theles became Mitth'esto'miurani.
Mission to Hutta[]

The Keeper of Imperial Intelligence
In 3643 BBY, the 'Keeper' dispatched Thel to Nal Hutta, the heart of Hutt Space. The Keeper explained to Thel that the Hutts held a substantial amount of resources that would greatly benefit the Empire. However, the Hutt Cartel chose to remain neutral and continue to sell supplies and resources to the Republic and Empire alike.
On Hutta there lived a Hutt crime lord by the name of Suudra Nem'ro. Nem'ro controlled the industrial town of Jiguuna and had access to a vast pool of resources. Thel was tasked with traveling to Hutta and securing Nem'ro's allegiance for the benefit of the Empire.
According to the Keeper, Thel's mission to Hutta had caught the attention of a member of the Dark Council, the ruling body of the Sith Empire. The Sith Lord in question was none other than Darth Jadus, the overseer of Imperial Intelligence.
Before the true operation could begin, the Keeper sent Thel to talk with an Arcona contractor named Jheeg. Jheeg gave Thel the false identity of a pirate known as the 'Red Blade'. Thel, as the Red Blade, brought Nem'ro many luxurious gifts (provided by the Empire) in order to gain his attention.

The Red Blade[]
Impressed by the quality of the gifts brought before him, Nem'ro gave his blessings for the 'Red Blade' to operate in Jiguuna. As a further show of appreciation, Nem'ro gave the Red Blade a personal suite within his Palace.
Removing all of Nem'ro's listening devices planted in his suite, Thel made contact with the Keeper. The Keeper suggested that the agent should manipulate Karrels Javis, one of Nem'ro's lieutenants seeking to win back his master's favor.
Before Theruth could approach Karrels he was cornered by Dheno Rey. Dheno claimed that the real Red Blade owed him money and that he intended to collect it from Thel instead. To ensure that his identity remained a secret, Thel murdered Dheno. However, the murder was witnessed by Ratataki criminal Kaliyo Djannis. Djannis confronted Thel who convinced her to keep quiet.
Thel's true identity was also discovered by notorious bounty hunter Raiden. The bounty hunter attempted to extort money from Thel but a firefight broke out with the hunter and the agent shooting each other's blasters out of their hands. Impressed by Thel's skill, Raiden agreed to leave them alone. Raiden and Thel would meet again some time later while both were assigned to work as part of the Empire's Task Force Fury.
Meeting with Karrels, the lieutenant helped the Red Blade gain Nem'ro's favor by recovering ore stolen by native Evocii and crippling Faath'ra's mining operations.
Speaking with the Keeper once again, Thel learned that Karrel's two sons had come into conflict with a Sith Apprentice. One son was killed outright while the other was crippled. The obvious implication was that Karrels would no longer be willing to support the Empire once he learned what had happened.
The Keeper suggested that Karrels could still be of use to the Empire despite the current situation. Thel was tasked with assassinating Karrels and making it look like the murder was committed by Republic spies. After taking care of Karrels, Thel approached Toth’lazhen, another of Nem’ro’s lieutenants. Thel began feeding Toth’lazhen’s preconceived suspicions that Fa’athra was responsible for Karrels’ murder. Thel’s next step would be to infiltrate Fa’athra’s Palace and steal the Hutt crime lord's security recordings. Thel would then manipulate the recordings to make it seem as though Fa’athra was working with the Galactic Republic.
Before departing Nem’ro’s Palace, Thel was cornered once again by Kaliyo Djannis. Kaliyo demanded to be a part of Thel's scheme or else she would inform Nem’ro about the truth. Thel believed Kaliyo would be a valuable asset to Imperial Intelligence and contacted the Keeper. The Keeper revealed Thel’s true identity as an agent of Imperial Intelligence and offered to pay Kaliyo well for her services.

Kaliyo Djannis, Rattataki anarchist
Kaliyo, now under the employ of Imperial Intelligence, assisted Thel in acquiring Fa’athra’s security recordings. Kaliyo pointed out that the recovered data revealed half of Jiguuna’s population to have active ties to Fa’athra. Thel believed this would further convince Nem’ro to side with the Empire in order to purge Jiguuna of traitors. Taking the doctored recordings to Nem’ro, the Hutt agreed to side with the Empire, just as the Keeper had planned.
Contacting the Keeper one final time on Hutta, Thel was instructed to take Kaliyo Djannis and report to him in-person on Dromund Kaas.
