The Miner's Daughter was a bar in the primary spaceport city of Vedros IV. In 109 ABY, Nightside Raiders Captain-General Kilwyo Kesh was visiting the Miner's Daughter with a gang of his followers. He was stabbed to death by Renamo Kemset, and a brawl ensued.
The Miner's Daughter had a Krill-shaped bar; the opening led to a kitchen, while the curved end of the bar opposite could be opened to allow staff to move from the bar to the rest of the drinking area. The building had dining and drinking space on all three sides of the bar, with off-white tables and simple chairs.
In the aftermath of Kesh's death, the Miner's Daughter acquired a reputation for the killing and did a small side business in tourism. For a small fee, patrons could take holos of themselves on the spot where the Synnott pirate expired. Owner Alaric Kend-Zast mounted a plaque on the floor which read, "On this spot in the twenty-third year of the Golden Empire, the hero Renamo Kemset slew the pirate Kilwyo Kesh, Enemy of the Empire and of all civilized beings."
