Mikah Ryarile was a Human male intelligence officer who served as the director of the Triumvirate Subversive Intelligence Service during dark side warlord Raixan Fauth's conquest of the galaxy. The nephew of Underground founder Kyren Zath, Ryarile worked alongside him and was often assisted by fellow member Cryarie Forcot. He took part in the struggle for the legendary Aranyan holocron, acting as a support during the SIS' attack during the blockade of Aranya, and taking up the role of a commander in the following Battle of Hideaway. In the midst of the battle, he was promoted to director by Zath himself, before the founder sacrificed himself in order to delay the enemy. Ryarile would later arrange the Underground's retreat from their former headquarters and would spearhead the search for their new world, Maitri.
As the new director, Mikah became a stalwart ally of the New Jedi Order, helping them to find refuge during the Second Great Jedi Purge, working with the crew of the starship Kitehawk and various groups to help the Jedi escape Fauth's clutches and escape to their new homeworld, New Tython. When Fauth discovered them anyway, Ryarile led the scant SIS fleet to combat his own, and though both sides suffered significant losses, the death of the likes of Grand Master Ha Seon and the following dissolution of the Order placed the win firmly on Fauth's side. He was the one who agreed to allow any remaining Jedi who desired to continue the fight to join the SIS, assigning them the title of "special agents", and placing them in key missions and operations.
Following the Fall of Coruscant, Ryarile assumed control of the scattered Galactic Federation Triumvirate forces, and was one of the main architects of Operation: Homefront.
