Welcome to my talk page. If you you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them. Unfortunately, I'm an administrator on four wikis, so I might be busy. Dispite this, I'll try to answer any messages you have for me as soon as possible.

Commander Fuzz

Hi, <insert name here>! Welcome to my talk page.

Greetings, I'm Michaeldsuarez, an Star Wars Fanon Administrator. If you have any problems, comments, or anything else you want to say, feel free to tell me here. May the Force be with you!

New upload page Edit

The image upload stuff that you just put in looks nice, but I can't help but think it's going to complicate things. The people we get here could barely operate the simple "Summary" box let alone all of this. It might be a good idea to change it back. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 20:59, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

 • I definitely do like it, which is unfortunate since I think it'd confuse the bejesus out of most users here. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 21:05, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for changing it back, by the way. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 21:09, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

 • Could you take a look at something else for me? Template:App here has a default setting to show everything and allow you to hide it, whereas on Wookieepedia the default is to have it hidden and allow you to show it. I can't seem to figure out why it's different when the code is exactly the same. Any ideas? - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 21:26, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

No worries. I wasn't waiting for it immediately or anything. Thanks for the fix. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 21:51, September 29, 2009 (UTC)

Re: UK Edit

That site seems completely inaccurate. I just checked SWRP, and it says it's in the United States, whereas it's actually in the United Kingdom. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 03:34, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

 • You'd have to ask them. Even so, it doesn't really matter. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 04:06, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

Wikia Edit

Could you give my talk page and user page protection on Wikia again? Our friend is back. Autoconfirmed for editing and moving would be very appreciated. - Brandon Rhea Rebel symbol Blue (talk) 16:18, October 9, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Draft proposal Edit

You read my mind. I was going to do the exact same thing. I have a few things that I might add to it. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 22:54, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

 • Yours is good so far. There are just a few things I think need to be added to it, and a few things that just need to be modified a bit. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 15:10, October 13, 2009 (UTC)

Lack of IP edits Edit

Hey Michael. I don't know if you saw my response to the comment you left on my blog, so I just wanted to let you know that the reason SWF only hasn't really had any IP edits lately is because a setting has been enabled requiring those who edit to have a confirmed e-mail address, which means only registered users can edit. Uberfuzzy told me this was due to the vandalism over the summer, although that was through registered accounts, not IPs, so this measure doesn't make much sense to me. I've asked Uberfuzzy if there's an ETA on when this will be reversed, since it's not fair to restrict editing only to registered users. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 21:08, October 26, 2009 (UTC)

Darth Magorad article Edit

 • Whoops, haven't checked in in a while... About the Magorad article, yes, I would be thankful if you deleted it. Thanks in advance.Unsigned comment by ~The Prophet~ (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

Change of proposal Edit

Hey, like I promised Darth tom I would do, I wanted to let you know that his original proposal for replacing CUSWFN with a blog has been retracted. It’s been replaced with a new proposal, which you can find here. I wanted to let you know about this so you can re-add your vote to the appropriate section of your choosing. =) - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 21:52, November 15, 2009 (UTC)

Deletion Edit

There is an article with only an infobox here, I am not sure if it is automatically a candidate for deletion, it looks like it has not been edited for a year.-Chosen OneSo the Prophecy says... 15:16, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

 • Yeah no problem. I found it a couple of days ago while looking for a specific tag thing. I wasn't sure if it just needed the infobox tag or a {Delete} tag as well. Glad to help.-Chosen OneSo the Prophecy says... 15:25, December 2, 2009 (UTC)
 • Alright. Thanks for clearing that up.-Chosen OneSo the Prophecy says... 15:28, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Images Edit

I'll be on the look out for that.-Chosen OneSo the Prophecy says... 18:47, December 2, 2009 (UTC)

Re: Site notice Edit

We haven't put a policy proposal or anything like that in the site notice for months now because we've been using Template:News on the main page. The site notice has been used for more fun, community-oriented things. It's not fair to take the short story contest out yet since we typically spam the wiki awards to death, and we want to make sure that the wiki awards host (something fun and community oriented) is chosen promptly. A third line is just excessive. I really don't see the need for a third, especially when the recent changes and Template:News have been doing a fairly good job lately of getting people to see CTs. People who always vote on things will vote no matter where we put a notification. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 17:14, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

AbuseFilter CT Edit

The AbuseFilter CT has been up for a week now. You want to go ahead and archive it and have the thing set up, or would you prefer more feedback? I'd say it's fine to go ahead and just have Uberfuzzy put it on. Anyone who cares enough to vote has had plenty of time. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 08:20, December 12, 2009 (UTC)

Didn't expect this! Edit

look this suprised me, though I suspect Darth Vader had something to do with it...[1]Darth Void (Talk) 23:00, December 14, 2009 (UTC)

I know but I didn't expect Galen... Darth Void (Talk) 19:36, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Its after his death because you can hear Juno in the trailer. I bet Darth Vader brought him back. Darth Void (Talk) 21:28, December 16, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah the old republic is going to be awesome. Darth Void (Talk) 13:32, December 18, 2009 (UTC)

Brandon sux Edit

no u - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 02:01, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

 • That's feeding the trolls Brandon. Wink Anyways, Mike, have you tried putting article_title instead of article_text? That might be the problem, of course, I'm new to this as well, so I'm most likely wrong. Doesn't hurt to try though.--Josh BenderTalk 19:32, December 19, 2009 (UTC)

Abuse Filter Edit

If you need any help with the Abuse Filter, Grunny says that you can ask him and he'd be happy to help. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 02:44, December 20, 2009 (UTC)

"this article needs general cleanup" Edit

Hi, i've gone through my article, Jacen Reginald Tasslor and tweaked it a bit, could you let me know if I can have the cleanup tag removed, and if not what I need to do to get rid of it. Also, i'm not sure how to clean up my other article Alucia Tano. There's nothing much to clean up, as it's still a work in progress, as soon as I know what I need to change i'll get to it. Thanks Darth Tyranitar 'Scentz' (after attack) 17:13, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

 • I've gone through both articles and changed everything I noticed that wasn't quite right. Could you check them and let me know if they are ok or whether they need more work? thanks Darth Tyranitar 'Scentz' (after attack) 21:49, January 26, 2010 (UTC)

ok, thanks Darth Tyranitar 'Scentz' (after attack) 18:28, January 27, 2010 (UTC)

Administrative discussion Edit

Hey. Please be sure to check out this forum as soon as you can. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 06:52, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

FAN Edit

Hey Michael. Normally I'd never ask this of a non-Seer like this, but since the FAN of Attack on the Ophuchi sanctuary has all the required Seer votes and only needs two more non-Seer votes, would you mind taking a read of the article and seeing if it's up to FA standards? We've just had the same article on the main page for like a month and it'd be great if we could finally see a change. Thanks man. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 20:52, February 13, 2010 (UTC)

Question Edit

Hi, I'm the new admin at another forum and I've been wondering how to get the image source template onto the upload image page. Any help on how to do it would be great.--BluethunderTalk 01:38, February 16, 2010 (UTC)

Interwiki links Edit

Hey, take a look at this. Do you know how to do that? - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 16:45, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

FAN review? Edit

Hello Michael. If you're ailing hands can manage it, might they be able to take a few moments and review and possibly vote for the FAN of Star Wars: The Tragedy? We'll need it for Saturday evening, since I'm not sure I'll be able to finish my Jedi Temple review (it really needs one badly) by then. Tell your poor hands I said thank you. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 00:43, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

User page policy Edit

Hey, since you asked me (quite awhile ago lol) to look over Star Wars Fanon:User page policy, I finally did. I made a few tweaks and additions, removals, etc. and created User:Brandon Rhea/User page. This would eliminate Star Wars Fanon:Userbox policy, because I got rid of the silly user box rule. What do you think about keeping/removing the video restrictions from Star Wars Fanon:Video policy? Also, I added in the bit about how user talk pages need to be archived, so that would eliminate most of Star Wars Fanon:Archival policy. What would you think about also proposing that the bit about article talk pages go into the MOS? That way we can get rid of the archival policy, thereby cutting down on a few policies (lots of policies about little things are intimidating IMO). Let me know what you think. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 04:59, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

 • Hey, just curious, did you get a chance to take a look at that at all? Thanks. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 23:31, April 14, 2010 (UTC)

Sounds exciting. Mind if I just override your version then and propose mine, since it's essentially the same basic stuff as yours anyway? - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 18:08, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Just remember the rule of thumb you've seemed to been graced with on other wikis: "If I've done nothing wrong, they will block me." Tongue - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 18:51, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Hey Edit

Hey, Michael. Sorry to bother you, but I've encountered a problem on my wiki, Mass Effect Fanon. The title template doesn't work on my wiki. If you can think of any reason why this would occur, please tell me. If you can't think of anything, could you tell me who might know? Thanks for helping, I can see that your already busy. -BluethunderContact 19:43, April 15, 2010 (UTC)

Re: Favor Edit

I just got onto IRC and pinged him. Looks like he's afk at the moment. I'll give him a link to what you said as soon as he replies back. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 19:33, June 3, 2010 (UTC)

 • Yes, he (Charitwo is a guy) has. He said that he's going to stick with his decision, because both of you are banned (Sync for commenting again, you for reverting the change and keeping it going). Sorry. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 01:27, June 4, 2010 (UTC)

New RfA Edit

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that there are two new requests for adminship up right now. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 05:04, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Please HelpEdit

I don't know what is going on, but my articles that have character infoboxes are over on the left side of the screen instead of the right. Everyone else's articles that have character infoboxes still appear on the right. I have just flat out deleted the infobox and repasted it and it didn't fix anything. I am confused and I would appreciate any help that you could give me. Castol Dalgota

Darth Void (Talk) 02:03, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

 • Nevermind, I seemed to have fixed the problem by setting my settings to default on my account. Wonder what I hit that did that? Well, thanks anyway. I know you would have helped me. Darth Void (Talk) 02:12, August 24, 2010 (UTC)

Re: CSS button styles Edit

Thanks Michael! - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 18:27, October 23, 2010 (UTC)

Deletions Edit

Are you leaving me? : '( - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 16:38, April 16, 2011 (UTC)

 • I actually hadn't heard that. Do you want me to remove your admin rights? - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 21:06, April 16, 2011 (UTC)

OK. If you want me to remove them when you're done, let me know. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 15:15, April 17, 2011 (UTC)

Special invitation for Michaeldsuarez!Edit

Hey, you! Yes, you!

You're cordially invited to the 7th Annual Wiki Awards on the Star Wars Fanon Wiki! Come nominate, procrastinate, marinate, and pontificate over the best and brightest of the community's offerings with us! Sample the choicest works with your critical eye (monocle sold separately) and submit your own works for a chance to be enshrined in the annals of Star Wars Fanon history. You might write whatever you want to because it's fun, but getting shiny awards and bragging rights doesn't hurt either, right? We didn't think so.

Don't force yourself into exile, or look for alternative activities this winter. Whether your work is one of the myriad incarnations of Revan, a Sith Lord with a hard-to-pronounce name, or some random teenager's pet pittin, you'll find an entry where it belongs. (Editor's note: "Best Incarnation of Revan" and "Best Hard-To-Pronounce-Sith" did not make the categories list this year.) It's time to break out the ancient Sith armor and capes, the dress uniforms for every soldier, and something to catch the eye for every pretty lass. And did I mention our sponsors include Sarth's Darths, provider of the finest black capes in the galaxy? Join our star-crossed, er…star-studded collection of Star Wars Fanon administrators including Brandon Rhea, Goodwood, and Trak Nar as we celebrate the individualism and creativity on this wiki. And if you thought this announcement was cheesy, you ain't seen nothing yet. (Consider this a warning to those, like Fiolli, who are lactose intolerant.)

So fire up the hyperdrive, hope it doesn't catapult you a few millennia forwards or backwards in time, and head on over to the Seventh Wiki Awards. We'd love for you to nominate deserving works (including yours!) and help us choose the best entries for this year! We can't pick between all the entries without you! And if you see any other special snowflakes who need invited to the extravaganza, just slap this message on their talk page to spread some holiday cheer… or something.

So from two folks who've contributed far more at Wookieepedia than here, who habitually bring you either terrible puns or delicious pasta, please accept our sincerest invitation to the Seventh Wiki Awards. And remember, we're doing this all for the community, because that's what really matters on this wiki. Right? Yeah…
