Welcome to my talk page. If you need any help, or wish to inform me of something, you have come to the right place.

could you give me authorization to use your fan era "Infinotium era" in the histories of my articles such as Timeline of Kundun's history and Kundun? I wrote them originally thinking that it was OK to create my own articles using the yet written eras, but now I know that I have to have an authorization. If not, much of my histories would have to be changed.

So, could you please give me your authorization to use this era on my articles? Thank you!

And also Dark Age, please? :) Momergil (Talk) 18:22, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
Well, I suppose you can use the Dark Age, but keep in mind that you'll have to basically work around all of the major events in that era. You can also use Infinotium era, but you can't do things, like, for example, throw in a major war. Your content will be used as Alternative Universe, so if you want to make edits to either era page, you'll have to mark it as Alternative Universe content. -- Knowledge the Article Writer talk 18:24, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Delete template Edit

Forgive me for doing that. I know it's not featured material, but I thought alot of it sounded kind of... prosey. For example: He had founded it on a narrow penisula, which he claimed would make it easier to defend against attack. Aworia-faestän was regarded as just another weak city, often captured by many other small, neighboring cities, until Oreste had enough.

I'm very sorry for causing you this inconvienence. I can remove it now if you want. --JediCommando (Talk) 18:39, 2 May 2009 (UTC)

Templates Edit

You can't remove those templates until the tagging process is over, which is around one month from now. After the tagging process is over, we'll check over your corrections and see if they're satisfactory. Then and only then will the templates be removed. - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 20:04, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Thanks. It may seem a little annoying that it won't be looked over until then, but the idea is just for us to concentrate on one thing at a time. First is the tagging, then the checking of corrections, then deletions, then dealing with users whining about deletions, etc. Tongue - Brandon Rhea (talk) (contribs) 20:06, 3 May 2009 (UTC)

Possible demotion Edit

Hey, Gnosis is knowledge. I just wanted to make you aware of this proposal, which talks about your inactivity and proposes your demotion as an administrator here on Star Wars Fanon. --Darth Wylind (Conference Room) 00:40, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

New RfA Edit

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that there are two new requests for adminship up right now. - Brandon Rhea Alliance Starbird (talk) 05:04, August 3, 2010 (UTC)

Admin rights Edit

Hey Gnosis. I don't know if you'll see this message, but I wanted to let you know that, per the end of your user page, I removed your admin rights. I went back and forth on this one for awhile, not sure if I should remove them or not, but ultimately I opted to, just to avoid any confusion from users who may some day go to you for admin-related stuff.

In the event that you do see this, I wanted to let you know too that I agree with a lot of what you said on your user page, given that I was at or near the epicenter of a lot of it. We did become elitist, like you said, and it drove people away. We latched on to this subjective idea of quality control, and in doing so we drove away the community and we've never gotten it back. My goal now is to rebuild a community centered around fan fiction more so than fanon, but the point is that we did lose the original community, no matter how chaotic and immature it may have been at the time. That's not to say we shouldn't have some standards of encyclopedic quality for articles, but we went way, way too far.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that. Take care, Gnosis. - Brandon Rhea@fandom(talk) 18:24, May 18, 2012 (UTC)

Recent ActivityEdit

I noticed that you are currently going through and deleting your articles, I hope that you have them backed up or see this and get the idea to, just in case you ever decide to come back in the future. I hate things being deleted, I hate it, I hate it, I hate it because the work is lost and I know a lot of time was put into that work by the creators. You may not remember me, but I remember you, I missed your departure in 2012 because I was inactive for most of 2011 and that year here, I miss you Gnosis. Take care.  Darth Void (Talk) 13:20, June 7, 2013 (UTC)

  • I think that honestly, if I ever came back here, I'd want to start completely fresh on something more in line with what I'd write now, backed up by a decently written fanfic in the style of the best "fan-novels" that get posted here these days. Though I think only a few concepts are worth keeping. I do thank you for concern, though, though I don't recall you much (sorry!). I think I'll always remember this site as a chapter of my life.
    • Don't worry about it :), I am not very active in the community, I tend to find it... too political oriented, is how I guess I could best describe it, still love it here and am grateful for the site though. I respect your decision, I just don't want you doing anything that you might regret later. If you come back in the future, I hope that I am here to greet you on arrival. Take care and may your dreams come true.  Darth Void (Talk) 13:35, June 7, 2013 (UTC)
