After perhaps the longest nomination period in Wikia history, My Mother's Dreams was at last elevated to Featured Work status today—congratulations! Additionally, since My Mother's Dreams is your second FW (along with Star Wars: The Tragedy), per the 2015 rules, you've been automatically added to our list of Archivists! I know you'll attack the duties of the office with the same enthusiasm and diligence I have.
To that end, let me extend my congratulations as well and accept my virtual hand shake which definitely isn't hiding a joy buzzer. I have updated the queue with your entry to be featured in May. Since you didn't have an excerpt listed on your story page, I used the opening 4 paragraphs of the work. If you have a different excerpt in mind, please let me know via the usual channels. Congrats again!
I actually elected to skip the queue and went right to featured status as of yesterday; I thought several years was quite enough acknowledgment for The Final Judgment, it didn't need the last few days of April, too. I used the three-paragraph excerpt on the nomination page, but I concur—if you'd rather a different excerpt, let one of us know.
Hello, I'm Sakaros, Star Wars Fanon Administrator and host of the Fifteenth Wiki Awards! Since you've been an active contributor here on Star Wars Fanon in the last year, I'd like to invite you to take part in this year's Wiki Awards in celebration of the best fanon & fan fiction our wiki has to offer!
Hello, Brandon! It's a long time since we talked for the last time. How you doing? Hope you good. So, the reason why I'm sending you this message is to notify that the SW Fanon wiki in portuguese had the name and logo updated. Because of that, I'm asking if you could rename our wiki's name in your main page to "Star Wars Fanon Wiki em Português", ok? Thanks!
I know this probably isn't the correct place for this, but I thought I'd try it anyway as it's the only way I think I get your attention.
Almost eight years ago I was blocked from Wookieepedia for having multiple sock puppet accounts and I was blocked indefinitely by one Grand Moff Tranner. I was a kid back then, 11-12 I think, paying no adherence to the rules (that I didn't read), and looking back I regret that so much.
Now I'm 22 and I'd like to countribute to the fandom, help clean up articles and be involved with the community. If you have the power or know someone who would be willling, I'd appreciate if you took my request under advisement.
Hello Jacen; Brandon asked me to look into this as a current administrator on Wookieepedia. As Grand Moff Tranner is no longer an administrator (or even an active user), I will look into the matter and see what can be done. I believe it will involve an administrator vote.
XD! I saw you were active a bit around the turn of the year but my distaste for The Last Jedi kinda dampened my interest in Star Wars around that time. I know there's plenty of people out there--even hardcore fans--who liked it, but I was not among them. Coming off the backswing a bit with a new project, so I might be back more, but the site is different now. IRC is more-or-less gone and I don't even have the client installed. Message Wall is okay, but I never really got used to Discussions.
Not so much anymore. I'm still a co-owner but there are two others who run the show. I keep up to date and stay involved in our Discord server but I haven't RPd since February. I am considering a new character, though. Our timeline right now is called "The First Sith" and the group that had been the Jedi Exiles just recently discovered the Sith species and became the Lords of the Sith and established the Sith Empire. So I'm thinking of making a member of the Sith species, possibly from the religious sect as a priest, who is adapting to the changes within his society. Could be interesting fodder for stories.
Hello. I am trying to create a new page titled "Aria" for an idea of a planet I have. Unfortunately for me, someone has already created a page with that name. I was wondering if that page can be renamed, as it has not been edited since 2010, or if a disambiguation page can be set up for the two articles. For now I am creating a page with the name "Aria (Planet)".
Hey there. The best course of action would be for you to name your page "Aria (Planet)," "Aria (Celtic22)," or some such name. We typically don't move pages to make disambiguation pages unless it's really necessary or for something more universal to Star Wars. Hope that helps. Thanks!
