Memoriam for Mara was a piece of orchestral music by Zarnz'fue'skigen created in honor of Mara Jade Skywalker. The arrangement begins dark and fleeting to represent her time as a Hand in the Galactic Empire. Then the music changes to a positive note when she defects to the New Republic and becomes married to Luke Skywalker. During this sequence, church bells can be heard. Towards the end of the piece, it transitions into a fast-paced action based mood representing the Yuuzhan Vong War and Confederation-Galactic Alliance War. Right at the moment of her death by the hands of Darth Caedus, the music stops violently and returns as a soft and low dirge. The music returns with lively vigor as her spirit returns to the Force and the crisis is averted.
