Melthuland was a planet in the Varvenna sector of the Colonies. It was a dry, dry industrial world in the Melthuland system. It had a large population that produced individuals such as Sleer Dijonin.
History[]
Discovered in 18,005 BBY, Methuland was colonized by Duros settlers in 17,993 BBY. It grew into an industrial world and was heavily polluted. During the Clone Wars it was captured by the Confederacy of Independent Systems and held until the end of the war. Its leaders quickly declared allegiance to the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY and it joined the New Republic just after its formation in 4 ABY.
