Melchon was one of the students in Luke Skywalker's Jedi training. He was a friend of Ben Solo. Melchon fancied him and Ben Solo was his only friend at the course while Ben Solo considered another boy from the course as his best friend and was part of a group of friends with two more students. Ben Solo trusted Melchon with his dark side experiments and expected Melchon to stop him if he would lose control. After Ben Solo told him that Luke Skywalker had tried to murder him, Melchon followed Ben Solo to the dark side. He turned without killing somebody. Under Snoke he got the task of destroying the fleet of the New Republic. He mainly did so by influencing and mind-controlling leaders of the fleet into giving the order to returning to the main planets before those planets were destroyed. As Kylo Ren's apprentice, he got the task to stop the desertion of storm troopers, what he successfully accomplished. After Kylo Ren returning to the light side and getting killed as Ben Solo, he had a claim to becoming Supreme Leader but he gave that up due to his minor Force abilities. |
