The Maynians were once the empire that controlled the planet Maynus. Their reign lasted until the Battle of Belaham, where they were defeated by the Gevorian rebels. After fleeing the major cities, the remaining members learned the ways of Jaxson Cand. The tribes believed Cand was their savior and that he would someday help them rise to their former power. During this time they were known as Candians.

Founding[]
The Maynian group was founded during the colonization of Maynus. They possessed the largest territory of the colonies during the planet's succession from the Republic. After breaking away from the Republic, the colony merged with the smaller colonies to grow in size. By 900 BBY, the entire planet united under the Maynian name, with Ar'Du Bane as their leader.
