Marzipan was a great center of trade and a prosperous planet. It was located in the inner regions of the galaxy. It was the center of the Marzipan system. It had many types of bizarre fruits and vegetables that were brought there from the Outer Rim. It was a shelter for travelers and refugees. There were many space ports and docks that orbited Marzipan. The market in Marzipan was impressive. It sold many different fruits and vegetables. The southern part of the planet was a very rural place. The north was very urban, there was much trading and business in this part of the planet, it was a very developed region. It was the center of the Marzipan system, (a group of five planets and their sun). It traded with its neighbor planet, Jeltooine. The capital city, Marz City was a beautiful, tropical, and cultural metropolis where many people lived life to the fullest. Its skyline was beautiful, it reflected of the tropical, blue sea. It was also home to the Marzipanian Army's land base.
Geography[]
Very flat, highlands were in south. The two massive fresh-water oceans Marina and Freshia were located to the east and west. The main part for the population and urban areas was around the coasts and in the flat hills. Many cities were located in the south, including Marz City. Aquatic life was thriving due to filtering systems placed in water. The filtered trash and waste was shot out into space to avoid becoming dirty polluted. The cities were very clean and calm, except for the bustling cities of the north. Most of the cities were paved with smooth, white tiles that were constantly swept to keep the streets clean. Many orbital or "cloud" cities were built in the West and East instead of regular cities because those regions was covered by water.
Defense[]
Marzipan was guarded by the Marzipan Home Defense Fleet, a fleet of about thirty or so ships. The lead ship of the fleet, The Sunblade was enormous in size and was very intimidating. It was also protected by a Planetary Shield also known as a defense grid. This giant shield protected Marzipan from planetary bombardment, asteroids, harmful space debris, and meteors. In addition to the defense fleet, Marzipan was constantly patrolled by a small force of Nova-class battle cruisers which, when done their shifts, would dock their ships into the large space ports and refuel.
