Maro Targin was an officer of the Imperial Diplomatic Service during the Great Galactic War, Cold War, and Galactic War. He served as the Sith Empire's ambassador to Balmorra (under Imperial occupation, but nominally led by the collaborationist Balmorran Reorganized Government). Targin was an advocate of cooperation between the Empire and the Balmorran collaborators, believing in the Imperial propaganda of uniting the galaxy against the Galactic Republic. He was evacuated in 3642 BBY as the Republic Military and Balmorran resistance overtook the planet. Targin later served as the Diplomatic Service's special envoy to the allied Corellian Council during the Battle of Corellia, and was killed there by Republic troops in 3641 BBY.
