Mara Zavarai was a female Coruscanti Human politician who served as a congresswoman and later as President of the Congress of Coruscant, the planet's local legislature. She was the daughter of Theresa and Marcus Zavarai, twin sister of Elena Zavarai, wife of Kay Iraseth Zavarai and the mother of Caspian Zavarai, who would later become a Sith Lord and Emperor of the Sith Empire.
She was killed during the Sacking of Coruscant by Darth Regius, who abducted her son and took him as his apprentice.
