These Mandalorian raiders were the remnants of a force of Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders who had become stranded on the Outer Rim world of Dantooine in the year following the Mandalorian Wars. Surviving by raiding the outlying residences and estates for food and equipment, by the time of the Jedi Civil War, they had come under the leadership of Mandalorian Rally Master Sherruk.
In 3,960 BBY, five of these raiders encountered Jedi Padawan Laera Reyolé, who attempted to intervene as they robbed a local farmer. The Marine officer came off worse in the fight that followed, and her bruised and unconscious form was left at the Jedi Enclave as an example against further action. This message was, apparently, taken to heart, because four years later, they were still a problem for the local population. By that time, Sherruk had claimed the lives of two other Jedi before his band was wiped out by the reformed Revan and his companions, which included future Mandalore Canderous Ordo.
