Mandalore the Indomitable, formerly known as Vhett, was a male Taung who led the Mandalorian Crusaders during the Great Sith War.
Biography[]
Vhett came from a line of Taung farmers that lived in the rural regions of Mandalore. Desiring to become a warrior, he joined the Mandalorian Crusaders and became a distinguished soldier in the Mandalorian army.[1]
By 4000 BBY, he had taken on the mantle of Mand'alor and became known as Mandalore the Indomitable among his followers for the fighting spirit he demonstrated while in battle.[2] At some point during his reign, he led a raid on the planet Iskadrell and freed a number of slaves, including the young Zeltron Antos Wyrick, who was brought in to the Mandalorians.[3] He also adopted a young foundling named Cassus, whom he personally inducted into his clan.[1]
In 3996 BBY, Mandalore set out in search of a worthy foe to launch a new crusade against and eventually heard word of the Sith Lord Ulic Qel-Droma. After getting Qel-Droma's attention by launching a series of raids on planets in the Empress Teta system, Mandalore challenged the Sith Lord to a duel on the Deep Core world of Kuar. After being bested by Qel-Droma, Mandalore swore fealty to the Sith and carried out an attack on the shipyards of Foerost in Qel-Droma's name.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
Mandalore being an ancestor of the Fetts is a reference to him being included in "The Fett Legacy" figure multipack in Hasbro's The Legacy Collection.
