Manaan was an Inner Rim planet.
History[]
Before the Great Flood[]
Manaan used to be a water world, and it used to be the biggest source of kolto back then. The Selkath were still on the planet until a scientist by the name of Xaro Xhoan Daxos and his droid army arrived on Manaan and killed all of the Selkath that were on the planet: he used his droids to go underwater to kill the rest of the Selkath. Once the planet was wiped ou,t he gathered all of the Selkath bodies and put them on the trash planet of Raxus Prime. He then suddenly left and never returned to the planet, where his 130,000 B1 battle droids, 30,000 B2 battle droids, 20,000 droidekas and 1 OOM command battle droid remained until the planet was abandoned in 3955 BBY. In 3955 BBY, Alexia Sorrow arrived on the planet and used the Force to create several small islands around the planet. She then became the first ruler of Manaan until one day, when the planet was hit by a great flood that destroyed the entire Ahto City, and the sun dried up nearly all the water on the planet except 30% of it.
Rebuilding Manaan[]

Alexia Sorrow then started to rebuild Manaan. She made a small refugee camp for the remaining droids and Rakata. She then grew a farmland for growing crops; luckily, the river that remained still had kolto in it. She then built a grand city with an Under City for the exiles, which had tents and animals for the Exiles to get clothes and food. There was also the Lower City, where the podrace track was along with a cantina, and the Upper city with a cantina, a small hospital, a weapons shop, a droid shop, two apartments and an arena. The rest of the city was a range of cantinas, shops, pazzak places and apartments. Alexia Sorrow then continued to rule the city, but she had a Scentinel rule in her place when she was away—a Scentinel being a person who ruled while the current ruler was away.
