Malum was the largest and capital city of the Morsian Empire on the planet Mors.
Originally founded by colonists of the Sicc'orax, Malum was a small underground settlement built into a large cave, giving it excellent defensive capabilities. After being taken over by the Morsian Military Dictatorship at the end of the First Morsian-Sicc'orax War, it was ruled by the Morsians until being lost to the Kingdiomi Di Sparti in the First Morsian-Sparti War. It remained under Sparti control until the Third Morsian-Sparti War, when the Third Morsian Republic took back the city.
The city changed hands several times as civil wars came and went and wars embroiled the lands, suffering hardships but also good times. It wasn't until 15,540 BBY when the Fourth Morsian Republic shifted the capital of the Morsian realm from Volcanesis Magna to Malum, declaring it the new capital. Multiple wars resulted in battles for Malum, as taking the capital of the Morsians would deal a severe blow to war efforts, however multiple layers of defenses and heavy garrisoning resulted in the city failing to be taken by any hostile powers.
